Choose the closest home size and we will give you a realistic whole-home packing estimate. This is for planning only; kitchens, glass, collections and unusually packed homes can change the final packing quote.

- 3-bedroom house: about $1,350

We offer two different storage options. Household-goods warehouse storage is planned around the size of the move. Our 8×16 on-site storage boxes use a simple delivery, pickup and monthly rate.

Short Answers
Is the calculator price my final moving price?
No. The calculator is designed to give you a good planning estimate before you contact us. We review the actual inventory, access and move details before preparing your written quote.
Why publish prices if every move is different?
Because you should be able to get a reasonable idea of cost before spending time on the phone. Published starting prices and the calculator help you understand the likely range before we review the actual move.
Is every 2-bedroom move the same price?
No. Our calculator starts a typical two-bedroom apartment at $672 and a typical two-bedroom house at $896 because a house normally contains more household goods. Those are still planning figures. The actual inventory, access, packing and other move details determine your written quote.
What are your minimums for labor-only and local moving service?
Labor-only service is $195 per hour for three movers or $295 per hour for four movers and has a 3-hour minimum. Local moving service with an HHG Movers truck has a 2-hour minimum.
Do you charge long-distance moves by weight?
No. Estimated shipment size can be used internally to help plan the move and calculate an estimate, but HHG Movers provides a written flat-rate quote. Your final bill is not calculated from a scale ticket.
Why do you want a video walkthrough?
Bedroom count cannot show us a packed garage, a narrow staircase, a large sectional, a gun safe, a piano or a long walk to the truck. The video lets us see what the job really looks like before preparing your written quote.
Can the written price change after I book?
The written quote is based on the inventory and work we reviewed. Added furniture, additional packing, extra stops or other added work can change the price.
Do you work weekends?
Monday through Friday is our normal moving schedule. We may accept weekend work when the date is available and the customer is comfortable with the weekend quote.
Comfortable With the Number?
The next step is simple. Show us the home, the furniture and the access with a short video walkthrough. We will review the move and prepare the written quote for your actual job.
