What is the difference between local and long-distance moving?
HHG Movers considers a move local when it stays within Georgia and within 50 miles. Georgia moves of 50 miles or more are intrastate long-distance moves. Any move crossing a state line is interstate.
Do I have to pack everything myself?
No. HHG Movers can provide full packing, partial packing or help with only the rooms and fragile items you do not want to handle yourself.
Can I hire HHG Movers if I already rented a truck or container?
Yes. Labor-only moving is designed for customers who provide their own truck, trailer, POD or container and need a professional crew for the physical labor.
Do you move businesses?
Yes. HHG Movers handles commercial moving projects including offices, professional facilities, warehouses, retail, FF&E and other business relocations that fit our capabilities.
Do you move pianos and other specialty items?
Yes. HHG Movers moves many pianos, safes, pool tables, gym equipment, antiques, large appliances and other specialty items. The item and access should be reviewed before the move.
Do you offer storage?
Yes. HHG Movers offers climate-controlled household-goods storage and 8×16 on-site storage boxes for customers who need help bridging a move, renovation or timing gap.
Do you broker long-distance moves?
No. HHG Movers is not a moving broker. We perform the moves we book.
