No Hoisting
HHG Movers does not hoist furniture, artwork, pianos or equipment through windows, balconies or elevated openings.
No Piano Stair Carries
Our piano standard allows up to five steps. We do not perform full piano stair carries beyond that.
No Safes Upstairs
Safe moves are limited by access and weight. HHG Movers does not move safes up or down stairs.
No Specialty-Trade Guessing
Electrical, plumbing, gas, complex wall installation and other trade work should be handled by the appropriate qualified professional unless specifically confirmed otherwise.
White Glove Can Continue After the Truck Is Empty
For customers who want more than delivery, unpacking and placement can be added to the project scope. The exact level should be decided before the quote so the right amount of labor is planned.

White-glove moving is a customized level of moving or delivery service for projects that need additional planning, protection, handling, placement or finishing services beyond a basic move.
Is white-glove service only for expensive furniture?
No. Financial value is only one reason to use it. Sentimental value, fragility, unusual finishes, a carefully finished property or exact placement requirements can matter just as much.
Do you work with interior designers?

Can you deliver one piece of furniture?
Yes. A white-glove project can be a single furniture piece or specialty item. It does not have to be a full household move.

Will you place furniture in the room?

Will you remove boxes and packing debris?

Do you build custom wooden crates?
Custom hard crating is not presented as a standard in-house HHG Movers service. If a piece requires a custom crate, tell us during the estimate so the requirement can be reviewed before the move is scheduled.
Do you hang artwork, TVs or chandeliers?
Do not assume wall mounting, electrical work or specialty installation is included. Tell us what you need during the estimate so we can define what HHG Movers will handle and what should be completed by another qualified professional.
Can white-glove items go into storage?
Eligible furniture and household contents can be reviewed for HHG Movers' climate-controlled storage when timing between pickup and final delivery requires it.
