Ballpark / Planning Price
Useful for deciding whether a move fits your budget. It is not a substitute for seeing the actual household, access and requested services.
Binding Estimate
A binding estimate is a written agreement made before the move. It is based on the shipment and services described in that estimate. Changes to the shipment or requested services can require the scope to be revised.
Non-Binding Estimate
A non-binding estimate is an approximation rather than a guaranteed final amount. The governing rules determine how final lawful charges are calculated and what may be collected at delivery.

“A short move into Florida is still local.”
Not for regulatory purposes. A state line can matter more than the mileage. Georgia to Florida is interstate transportation.
“USDOT means the company is a Georgia household-goods mover.”
